| Thermal printers for inexpensive labels French company Investix have launched its latest range of thermal printers
suited to the individual printing of labels with or without barcodes.
The two new CX models are available in two sizes, with widths of 60mm and 85mm. The two
models offer high levels of quality and reliability for the production of all labels,
tickets and barcodes in areas such as logistics and distribution, point of sale and
retail. They are said to be ideal for situation when there is just one letter to be sent
out, but you don't want to handwrite the address.
The Investix CX60 and CX85 printers use direct thermal technology. As they use no ribbons
or ink the cost of using them are greatly reduced. The models print at high speed, yet
with high definition labels are produced at 50mm/s at 203dpi. Main barcode
symbologies including 2D and international character sets are included, and new barcodes
can be downloaded into the flash memory.
The printers benefit from an easy paper insertion
system, and come complete with label design software. Both the CX60 and 85 are Windows
compatible, and also fully compliant with EPOS equipment, allowing integration with PC,
